smiling and waving
In Te Ngahere we were learning to smile and wave at kids in the other classes. Most of them waved back some didn’t wave back and I saw Fonz help a little girl. I waved at 11 or 12 people. All of Te Ngahere had fun though and there were a ton of kids that smiled and waved but I wasn't the only one to do it in my class. What I did well was smiling and waving at the other kids I think I could do better next time is smile more and enjoy it. Also I had fun waving at my friends and other kids.

R Tucker Thompson
On Wednesday, I went on the R Tucker Thompson with Alesher and four other people. We learnt where Captain Cook landed his first anchor in New Zealand. He named New Zealand the Bay Of Islands because there were 8 Islands that he liked. We got to climb the side of the boat with a harness and we got to go on the front of the boat as well. It was fun but I got scared because I thought I would fall off when climbing. If I go on there next time I will remember not to get scared and be confident.
Duffy Day
Yesterday all of Paihia School had a Duffy assembly in the whare. There was a girl named Zinke. She said she came in a lollipop ship and crashed in the forest by the hill. We had to sing the Duffy song and then meditate to her world and back to school. Then people got their books. Then we got selfies with Zinke then she left.
